They are great for high-traffic and moisture-prone areas, like kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry rooms. 

Tiles are more complicated to install, and depending on the kind you choose, can be more on the expensive side. But with their classic elegance and durability, you will get a very long life from your floors. 

Carpet

Carpet is a classic and a favorite of many! It is a cost-effective option and offers many different styles, textures, and colors. Whether you’re looking for something soft and cozy like a shag carpet, or something sturdy like a berber carpet, your options are many! Carpet is soft and warm on the feet and muffles sound, so it’s a great option for bedrooms and living rooms.
